File Share (Drive Mapping) provides access to network drives used to store and share files across Columbus City Schools. Please include your building name when requesting access.
How we use File Share (Drive Mapping)
- Storing and organizing shared files by building or department
- Accessing shared network drives from your building, or remotely over the CCS network or VPN
- Recovering files from district backups when something is lost or deleted
Before you start your request
- Include the file share drive letter and name in your request
- Note if your account is new or you recently switched positions in the district
- Once IT confirms access, reboot your computer to see the change
- File shares are only accessible remotely while connected to the CCS network or CCS VPN
