VPN Access provides a secure, encrypted connection between your device and the CCS network, so you can work remotely as if you were on-site.
How we use VPN Access
- Accessing internal tools like shared drives and internal websites from home
- Keeping remote traffic to district systems encrypted and protected
- Separating district traffic from general internet traffic for speed and control
Workflow Process
- IT Management Approval - The request is reviewed and approved by IT Management.
- Field Tech VPN Installation - A Field Tech installs and configures VPN on your device.
Before you start your request
- For Add/Remove Access, include the user's name and username, and whether access should be added or removed
- For a VPN Issue, describe the problem (e.g. can't connect, dropped connection, slow speeds) and the device/operating system you're using
