Resource Calendars

Service Description

A resource calendar is a calendar used to schedule a classroom, conference room, or some other resource. It helps prevent rooms or resources from being double booked. All classrooms have a resource calendar, but you may need to request a new one if you're adding a new classroom. You can also request resource calendars for things like departmental vehicles, shared equipment (cameras, projectors, etc), or any other resource that requires scheduling to be used.

Roles and Responsibilities

User Responsibility:

  • User is responsible for providing location and room number.
  • User is responsible for providing equipment information for scheduling.

IT Responsibility:

  • IT is responsible for creating the resources and allowing users to book resources.
  • IT is responsible for training how to book resources.
