CCS Account is an account maintained by IT, and the primary purpose allows users to sign into computers, networks, and domains.

Staff
- Username: (ccs\username or username@ccs.local)
- Email Address: (username@columbus.k12.oh.us)
Students
- Username (ccs\StudentID or StudentID@ccs.local)

Password Complexity Requirements
- Minimum Password Length 8 Characters
- Password History Length 10
- Must contain at least one of the following characteristics, 1 numeric, 1 alpha, and 1 special character.
- Password Renewal occurs every 90 days.
Account passwords expire every 90 days. IT sends a daily email reminder to change your password 15 days before it expires.
Password notifications WILL NOT include links to reset your password. Password changes need to be accomplished using the approved methods.
