Extension requests are automatically generated for consultants 30 days before their account end date, or for consultants who haven't logged in for 60 days. |
How we use Consultant Account Request
- Giving a non-employee consultant temporary, time-limited access to district systems to support CCS work
- Getting a consultant account approved through your management chain and IT Management
- Keeping consultant access monitored and protected through a signed Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Workflow Process
- Management Approval - Approval request is sent to a principal, supervisor or higher in your management chain. You can also define this manager in the ticket.
- IT Management Approval - The request is reviewed and approved by IT Management.
- AUP Signature - An Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) link is emailed to the consultant, the requestor, and the requestor's manager for signature.
- Account Creation - Once the AUP is signed, the account is created overnight, on or after the consultant's start date.
- Password Delivery - Password will be sent after account is created to manager, consultant account & personal email of consultant.
Before you start your request
- Accounts are created for a maximum of one year -- automatic ticket extensions are created 30 days before the consultant is set to expire
- Consultant account requests are no longer accepted by email -- all requests must be submitted using this form
- Requests will be automatically closed if:
- The consultant's start date is more than two weeks away
- Management approval is not granted within 2 weeks
