VPN Access

VPN Access provides a secure, encrypted connection between your device and the CCS network, so you can work remotely as if you were on-site.

How we use VPN Access

  • Accessing internal tools like shared drives and internal websites from home
  • Keeping remote traffic to district systems encrypted and protected
  • Separating district traffic from general internet traffic for speed and control

Workflow Process

  1. IT Management Approval - The request is reviewed and approved by IT Management.
  2. Field Tech VPN Installation - A Field Tech installs and configures VPN on your device.

Before you start your request

  • For Add/Remove Access, include the user's name and username, and whether access should be added or removed
  • For a VPN Issue, describe the problem (e.g. can't connect, dropped connection, slow speeds) and the device/operating system you're using
You may be given CCS Portal access instead, depending on your reason for requesting VPN
