Website Filtering

Website Filtering lets you request that a website be allowed or blocked on the CCS network. Sites are filtered based on assigned categories, and some sites may need to be reviewed if they aren't categorized correctly.

How we use Website Filtering

  • Keeping the network filtered to block content that's inappropriate or unnecessary for the educational environment
  • Unblocking specific websites needed for classroom or administrative work
  • Correcting sites that are filtered under the wrong category

Before you start your request

  • Include the exact website URL(s) you're requesting to be allowed or blocked
  • State whether you're requesting the site be allowed (unblocked) or blocked
  • If requesting a site be unblocked, briefly explain why it's needed (e.g. classroom activity, administrative task)
  • If a site is filtered under the wrong category, describe what the site is and what category it should fall under
