Important Notes (Offsite Password Resets)

  • If you reset your password while offsite(Not on the CCS Network), your computer may not immediately recognize the new password
  • This happens because the device has not synced with the CCS Account Directory
  • This may cause Smart Account Lock Out to occur if the password on the workstation hasn't been updated.

How to Fix

  • Connect to CCS Network via CCS-Private Wi-Fi or VPN
  • Lock your computer (Ctrl + Alt + Delete)
  • Sign in again with your new password
Best Practice: Reset your password while connected to the CCS network whenever possible.

Limitations

  • This feature works only on CCS Windows devices
  • Not supported in Remote Desktop sessions
