Important Notes (Offsite Password Resets)
- If you reset your password while offsite(Not on the CCS Network), your computer may not immediately recognize the new password
- This happens because the device has not synced with the CCS Account Directory
- This may cause Smart Account Lock Out to occur if the password on the workstation hasn't been updated.
How to Fix
- Connect to CCS Network via CCS-Private Wi-Fi or VPN
- Lock your computer (
Ctrl + Alt + Delete)
- Sign in again with your new password
|
Best Practice: Reset your password while connected to the CCS network whenever possible. |
Limitations
- This feature works only on CCS Windows devices
- Not supported in Remote Desktop sessions
