Overview
The CCS Map Printers Utility (PMU) allows staff to quickly install approved printers located within their building.
The utility automatically displays printers available at your location and simplifies the installation process without requiring you to manually locate printer servers or drivers.

Prerequisites
- Ensure the Map Printers (PMU) utility is installed.
- You should see the PMU shortcut on your Windows desktop.
- If you receive a User Account Control (UAC) prompt during printer installation, you must first install the CCS Point and Print Enable utility from Software Center.

If you receive a User Account Control prompt requesting administrative credentials, complete the Point and Print Enable installation steps later in this article before attempting to install the printer again. |
Install a Printer Using PMU

Launch the Map Printers Utility
- Locate the Map Printers (PMU) icon on your desktop.
- Double-click the shortcut to open the utility.
- If prompted for administrator credentials, complete the Point and Print Enable steps later in this article and then try again.

Select a Printer
- Review the list of available printers.
- Locate the printer you want to install.
- Select the printer from the list.

- Allow the installation process to complete.

Install the CCS Point and Print Enable Utility
If you are prompted for administrator credentials while installing a printer, complete the steps below before attempting the printer installation again.

- Type Software Center.
- Open the Software Center application.

- Use the Software Center search feature.
- Search for CCS Point and Print Enable (|REG).
