๐ŸŒ What Is the WLAN Report Tool?

The WLAN Report - Wifi wlan report application is a diagnostic tool available in Software Center for CCS Windows devices. It helps the Network Administrator troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues by generating a detailed HTML report of your deviceโ€™s WiFi activity.

  • CCS Staff experiencing WiFi issues
  • Site Technicians assisting with wireless troubleshooting
  • Anyone directed by IT to run the WLAN Report

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ How to Run the WLAN Report

Open Software Center

  • Click the Start Menu
  • Search for Software Center and open it

Find the Application

  • Look for WLAN Report - Wifi wlan report in the list of available applications

Run the Application

  • Click Install or Run depending on your system setup
  • Wait for the tool to complete (usually under 1 minute)

Locate the Report

  • Navigate to:
    The report is located on your Desktop called "wlan-report-latest.html".

๐Ÿ“ค Upload the Report to Your TDX Ticket

Once the report is generated:

  • Open your TDX ticket for Wireless Issue
  • Click Add Attachment
  • Upload the file:
    wlan-report-latest.html

This helps the Network Team quickly diagnose and resolve your issue.
