Summary: This article explains what to do if you receive an access error when signing into CCS Portal (Parallels RAS).
For staff
Overview
You may see an error when logging into the CCS Portal that prevents access to applications like Parallels RAS.
This usually means your account does not currently have permission to use the application.
What You May See
Sorry, but we’re having trouble signing you in.
AADSTS50105: Your administrator has configured the application to block users unless they are assigned access.
You will not be able to launch CCS Portal resources until access is granted.
|
This error does not mean your password is wrong or your account is locked. |
What You Should Do
✅ Request Access (Required)
To access CCS Portal, you must be assigned to the correct access group.
Access will be granted after your request is reviewed and approved.
✅ After Access Is Granted
- Sign out of all Microsoft applications
- Restart your computer
- Sign back in and try again
Why This Happens
CCS Portal access is controlled by Microsoft Entra ID using security groups.
If your account is not assigned to the correct group, access is automatically blocked.
- You are not assigned to the required access group
- Your role recently changed and access has not been updated
- Access requires approval before it is granted
|
Only users who are directly assigned to the required group can access CCS Portal. Nested group membership may not work. |
Still Having Issues?
- Confirm your access request has been approved
- Wait a few minutes for access to update
- Sign out and back in again
