To successfully access the CCS Portal:
2. How to Access the CCS Portal

Open any web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, etc.).

Enter the following URL:
👉 https://ccsportal.columbus.k12.oh.us
This link works both on-site and off-site, regardless of whether you are:
- Hard wired to the CCS network
- Connected to CCS Private or CCS Personal Wi-Fi
- Connecting from outside the district

Log in using:
- Username: Your full CCS email address
- Password: Your standard district password

Complete MFA if prompted.

After login, available apps may vary depending on your role and permissions.
3. Accessing the Virtual Desktop
- Once inside the portal, click the Virtual Desktop icon.
- The system will launch a Windows desktop environment similar to logging in on a district device.
A toolbar at the top of the window allows you to manage the virtual desktop session.
4. Logging Out (Important)
Always log out properly instead of just closing the browser.
If you do not log out, you may receive the error:
"Cannot complete this request"
To Fix This Issue:
- Clear the browser’s cache and cookies
- Reopen your browser and log in again
