How to reset your password using your Recovery Questions

Before you begin…
This guide will go over how to reset your password using your Recovery Questions. If you have not set up your Recovery Questions or do not remember your answers, please ask your teacher for help.
Step 1: On the Chromebook login screen, click “Help, I forgot my password.”
Type your username in the field provided.
Step 2: Click on the blue checkmark to continue.
Step 3: Answer your Recovery Questions in the spaces provided.
Step 4: Click on the blue checkmark to continue.
You will have to scroll past the Password Policy to continue to Step 6.
Step 5: Type your new password in the “New Password” field.
Before you create your new password, make sure to review the password policy to ensure your new password follows these requirements.

Step 6: Retype your new password in the “Confirm Password” field.
Step 7: Click the blue checkmark to continue.
Step 8: Click “Go back to login page.”
Now you can log in using your new password!
